A place for girls to learn, ask questions, and grow up feeling informed.
Girls Club gives girls a place to learn together.

How Girls Club started
In 2023, former elementary school teacher Annie Wolf invited six girls into her basement for the kind of conversation she knew they needed.
They talked about bodies, puberty, questions they didn’t always know where to ask, and what it means to grow up feeling informed rather than embarrassed or confused.
The girls loved it. Their parents loved what came home from those conversations. And Girls Club grew.
Today, trained Girls Club teachers are creating these same spaces in communities around the country.
Why I brought Girls Club to Chagrin Valley

I’m Kate Breed, a mom, a Certified Girls Club Teacher, and the person behind Girls Club of Chagrin Valley.
As my own daughter has gotten older, I’ve become increasingly aware of the small window we have to give girls accurate, age-appropriate information before confusion, embarrassment, internet searches, or misinformation fill in the blanks.
When I discovered Girls Club, I loved that it wasn’t simply a puberty class. It gave girls language for their bodies, space to ask questions, and a room full of other girls learning right alongside them.
I wanted girls in our community to have that too.

So, what is Girls Club?
Girls Club is a five-week program for girls in grades 3–5 designed to make conversations about growing up feel normal, informative, and empowering.
Through age-appropriate lessons, conversation, journaling, reflection, and connection with other girls, we talk about anatomy, puberty, body safety, self-love, sisterhood, and trusting your own voice.
